PICTURES and PLACES

IDEAS

I've been working on this book for longer than I've actually been doing the writing part. While writing is the single most important part of doing a book, almost as important is the inspiration for it.

Towards the left here are some pictures I took that serve as inspiration for some of the places in the book. I find the places easier to write about if I can see them and populate them with my characters.

The top picture is the Old Auditorium, which served me as headquarters for The Lost Weekend Retreat

The next two pictures are the Oblates' residence, inspiration for the Thadd Pad

Remember these "real pictures" are only inspiration for what was used in the book.

Don't go looking for my fictional characters in these real places, okay?
